Cross-country skiing in Hochpustertal

Cross-country skiing in Hochpustertal

It is so beautiful here in Hochpustertal and the conditions are so perfect; indeed this has a danger in itself, for when you come to Hochpustertal to go cross-country skiing you will always want to come back in the future. A superb cross-country skiing region awaits you here - 160 kilometres of cross-country ski tracks, where Pustertal’s, Leschtal’s and Villgratental’s villages are also located. If enchanting beauty had a name, the name of this region would have to come top of the list. While cross-country skiing you often go to your physical limits. Not just metaphorically speaking, you really can actually go along the limits on the border area slope in Obertilliach.

Tobogganing in Hochpustertal

Tobogganing in Hochpustertal

Tobogganing and the East Tyrolean side of Hochpustertal – two concepts which are made for one another. There are a few small, yet perfectly formed, toboggan runs. The toboggan routes are also very well suited for people who just can’t get enough of tobogganing and who want to speed down a toboggan route more than just once. Whether it is the Anras-Ried toboggan run, the Tilliacheralmweg natural toboggan run in Außervillgraten or even the Kalksteinweg toboggan run, you’ll find the best tobogganing conditions on all these runs. And there are even a few other routes too. So, sleds at the ready and head out tobogganing in Hochpustertal!

Sillian Hochpustertal Ski centre

Sillian Hochpustertal Ski centre

Want to sample cordiality? Cordiality isn’t all boring. That in the ski centre there is no shortage of sun and snow is something we probably don’t need to tell you. Those who want to get a bit of sun and who are also looking for very well prepared pistes, away from the main ski areas and the hustle and bustle could hardly do any better in choosing East Tyrol and the Hochpustertal ski centre. Opposites really do come together here which is well demonstrated in the area’s versatility – pleasure skiers, families, free-riders, snowboarders, they all get out on to the snow together. It’s no wonder with these sorts of conditions – 22.4 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes & ski lodges which just bursting with East Tyrolean cordiality. The ski area’s altitude location (between 1100 and 2407 metres) is the last word in fantasticness and unusualness. The Hochpustertal ski centre can officially claim the attribute “exceptional”. Even the youngest children really are very well catered for – little ones up to the age of 6 travel free, and the child tariff applies for those up to the age of 18. The “Bobo” children’s club also sees to children’s particular needs. Not forgetting snowboarders - "Yellowsnow Funpark" does exactly what it says on the tin …
