The time finally arrives every year in May – the season in Galitzenklamm gorge opens. But what exactly is the Galitzenklamm gorge, about which so much is talked about in East Tyrol? The reply is actually pretty simple – it is the adventure park on the Drau cycle trail. It might be better to say THE adventure park on the Drau cycle trail. That would describe it better. The season opens in May and then once again it’s all about going in, experiencing and learning what this water adventure park is all about. A few key words describe the Galitzenklamm gorge water adventure park really very well indeed - exciting, fun, playful and sporty. You can have all that in Galitzenklamm gorge at once. You have the feeling that you are in a giant, spacious and adventurous park, which has one attraction after another. But actually is there? A water ‘show’ trail which is just teeming with spectacular bridges and steep cliff faces. The Galitzenbach river whooshes full of adventure and spectacularly into the valley. Feld am See Wildlife Park

In the 11-hectare enclosure of our wildlife centre, our animals are provided with the most natural possible habitat. Visitors can enjoy direct, safe contact with over 30 types of wild animals: red and fallow deer, mouflons, capricorns, chamois, wild boars, pot-bellied pigs, raccoons, pheasants, llamas, Scottish cattle, peacocks, racka sheep, four-horned sheep, Hungarian woolly pigs, four-horned goat (Carinthian domestic animals threatened by extinction), Sika deer etc. You can stroll comfortably through the wildlife centre in around 45 minutes along our spacious footpaths. The surrounding Gegendtal valley offers an impressive backdrop for photos and video films.

Wichtelpark Sillian

What can you expect from a park with this name? Correct – that your own “imps” will feel great. The word “Wichtel”, for all those who don’t know, denotes munchkin, imp or brownie. In this context it is intended for children, for whom Wichtelpark Sillian really does offer a lot. Certainly everything that a children’s heart craves. And it can even be said that enthusiastic parents too find Wichtelpark just as “cool” as their beloved little ones. Wichtelpark Sillian’s location is certainly no accident. Especially since Hochpustertal is described as the most family-friendly valley in East Tyrol. The motto in Wichtelpark is precisely set up with this fact in mind – “Berge für Zwerge”. Children have their own bit of East Tyrol here. And children have a park, where they can just be children.

Bicycle path San Candido – Lienz

This route in one of the most famous and popular. Towards Austria it is mostly downhill, to create well by children. The return can also be made by train, charged with bicycles. The road is paved, there are very few intersections on the streets; some intersections and railroad crossings are without barriers..

We have never felt so great and so spoiled in any other hotels before! The staff is polite, qualified and friendly, speaking several languages (thank you, Gyorgy, you were great!), the rooms are extremely clean and large, the pool is great and with water tobbogan- a delight for children-, the food is tasty and diversified, the price includes all sorts of things that one would normally pay for in other locations ( sledges, drinks at the evening meal, babysitting etc.). The MINICLUB is a funny and enjoyable place, my child has had the time of her life playing with Ignazio and the other children and came back with a lot of souvenirs and good memories( Briana sends lots of kisses to you, Ignazio, by the way! Thank you for the fun!!!!) The location is absolutely PERFECT! Congratulations to the entire staff, we really hope to come back to your hotel soon!!!

Stayed in March for 3 nights. The hotel is on a nice and quiet location very close to the Italian border and several ski slopes both on the Austrian and Italian sides. The room was big and very clean as every area on the hotel. Amazing staff, extremely helpful and top quality food! "All you can eat" buffet made of both Austrian and Italian cuisine with a big variety and in abundance. Way better than many Restaurants!!! Congrats to the director Mr Crivella who managed to get a great team of people making everyone feel at home.
